Welcome

I am delighted as Head Teacher of Inverkip Primary to welcome you to our school website.  We hope you will find the information on the website interesting and informative.  At Inverkip Primary all pupils are encouraged to develop positive attitudes to learning, to friendships and to our environment. We offer the pupils a variety of activities to help them become successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible
citizens.

The School’s learning philosophy is based on our CHEER school values where we encourage learners to build capacity, collaborate and make connections in their learning.

Commitment, Honesty, Endeavour, Equality and Respect.

We enjoy close working relationships with other agencies and local primary and secondary schools.

As key educators in your children’s lives, we believe that it is important that you feel you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable and allocate time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts about the school. You can be assured that we will continue to strive to create a school which provides an all-round educational experience in which everyone can flourish. Our partnerships with parents enhance the learning and teaching and we appreciate their involvement in the life of the school.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge and skills during their time at Inverkip Primary and thank you in advance for your support. Our door is always open and we welcome your comments and suggestions to ensure that we: Get It Right for Every Child.

At all times you will receive a warm welcome at the school and we will endeavour to assist you in any way we can.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Una Nicolson (Head Teacher)
