Halloween Fun in Room 2 :)

Room 2 had a fun-filled day to mark Halloween this weekend.

Everyone came dressed up in their Halloween costumes and party clothes and looked fantastic. Well done everyone for making such a great effort.

This morning we had an extra little fine motor task set up in our tuff tray. We had to use the tweezers to pick out the spiders from the webs. We had very steady hands and managed to reach in and grab all of the sneaky spiders.

We also watched the ‘Room on the Broom’ animation, as this was our story of choice at the library yesterday. It was good to see the words on the page come to life through the animation.

This afternoon, we took part in a parade in the hall with all of our friends in Primary 1. We even had a little time for a dance. Everyone looked great in their costumes. We then came back to class and enjoyed a drink and snack and danced the rest of the afternoon. We played some party games and enjoyed spending time with our friends. We had great fun and I think we are looking forward to our Halloween plans over the weekend.

Just a reminder, on Thursday 5th November, there is a bonfire themed menu for lunch. Could I also ask that any ‘My Child’s Art’ sheets that were sent home last week, be returned to school no later than 4th November. Thank you to those of you who have returned them already. Thank you for your cooperation with this.

Have a lovely weekend everyone! 🙂
