This week in Room 11 we made ties to the UNCRC Global Goals – Good Health and Wellbeing (3) .
We familiarised ourselves with the Orange Cog from our Emotion Works Programme. This Cog helps us to learn, think and talk about the words we use to name our feelings and emotions.
After this, we read the story of the Colour Monster – where the monster gets himself all mixed up because he doesn’t know how to clear his mind or ask for help.
As a class we recognised the importance of different emotions and although some are more challenging we can learn something from them.
This term we will continue to make connections between the cogs in order to gain strategies and understanding of how to cope with challenging emotions.
