Welcome to Room 2’s blog. We will post weekly updates here and tell you all about our learning journey throughout the year.

Thank you for coming along to our recent ‘Meet the Teacher’ event. It was great to see so many of you there. I hope that you found the sessions useful and if there is anything that you require throughout the year, please just get in touch.

Room 2 have been learning the routines of our classroom and school. Yesterday we went on a little walk around the school to meet some new teachers and to find important places in our school building. We even received our third ‘Proud Cloud’ for showing our school value of ‘United’ whilst walking in a line. We were very PROUD!

We have started learning numbers ‘0’ and ‘1’ this week. We learned about Greedy Zero and Penguin One. We have been practising the formation of these numbers in active ways and in our new jotters. It is all very exciting!
