This week,

J – We learned a new sound ‘au’.

L – We have been reading with our teddies during Book Week.

R – We were learning new songs, ‘Rocking Around the Christmas Tree’ and we do actions called Makaton.

H – We have learned new common words – ‘when’, ‘keep’, ‘week’, ‘because’.

C – We sang ‘Rocking Around the Christmas Tree’ at assembly.

H – We have been doing addition sums.

L – We are going to do three songs for our Christmas show.

F – We have been learning about the story ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ this week. We made a sentence about the tiger and we made a picture and around it were words about the tiger like ‘cheeky’, ‘rude’ and ‘furry’.

Thank you to our families who joined us on Wednesday afternoon for our Parent/Carer Reading event. It was so lovely to have you in our class, enjoying some reading time with the children. The boys and girls loved exploring the contents of their book bags and I hope you will enjoy using them at home. Thank you again for coming along.
