Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Our Showcase

The pupils enjoyed taking part in our World War II Museum this week. Miss McIver kindly organised for a range of artefacts to be brought in and displayed for the pupils to see and peruse. They were able to see in real life some items and artefacts that were used during WWII. While each class was visiting the museum, the other pupils took part in a collaborative task, drawing and labelling the uniform of a typical WWII soldier. After learning about the kit used and comparing it to that of a WWI soldier the pupils worked in pairs to draw a diagram of a soldier. See some examples below.

Thank you so much to all of the friends and family of the pupils in Room 24 who came along to our Showcase this week.

The pupils absolutely loved sharing their learning with you all and showing you around our class room 🙂
