Good afternoon

As I am sure you are aware from news updates, we are still waiting for confirmation on whether or not industrial action will go ahead next week.  As the deadline may be 5pm today and the school will then be closed for the holiday, we will issue pupils with work to bring home today to cover the three days next week – unless things change before 3pm today.  Pupils will have 5 curriculum tasks to complete each day and some other tasks that will be optional for them to choose from.   We have tried not to ask pupils to access online devices as this is for a short period of time and we are aware that having everyone in the house trying to access devices can be stressful for families who are trying to work from home and complete school tasks for primary and secondary pupils.  Pupils are asked to bring their work back next Friday when they return to school.  However if the school is open on Tuesday as normal, we ask that the pupils bring the pack back with them on Tuesday.  I’m sorry I can’t give more information at the moment on whether we will be open or closed, we are planning for both scenarios and we will update here on the school blog as soon as any other information is available.  Mrs Meechan
