The following post has been crafted by the children in Room 16,

We have been learning about classroom objects in French by creating our own French pencil cases and testing our knowledge by playing French ping pong. In literacy we have been continuing to read Aliens Stole My Dog, we have also been learning how to write narrative stories by creating fabulous opening paragraphs.

In Numeracy we have been learning about estimating and rounding, we have been very active in the classroom by guessing the length and height of objects and then measuring their actual length using measuring tapes.

In PE we have been practising our racket skills, we love to play the badminton bean bag monster game.

We are shortly starting a new topic, all about the 1960s, which we chose ourselves and we are so excited!

Lastly, we have been reading Bad Dad By David Walliams for our snack and read story, it is quickly becoming a favourite.
