Hi everyone

This week we have been learning lots of new skills. Here is a list of what we have been up to:

  • We were rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000.
  • We worked in groups to create literal questions about our book Journey.
  • We worked on using punctuation in different sentences.
  • We also wrote a character description – we had to choose between Rock, Paper & Scissors and turn this into a character.
  • We used our inference skills and our research skills to think about colours and what they represent in a story.
  • We investigated air resistance by making our own hot air balloons and paper spinners. These activities were inspired by the red hot air balloon in our book.

We also had a very important discussion about Article 2 of children’s rights which is ‘No discrimination’.

Overall we had a great week!
