Hi Everyone we are back and have been very busy. This term we have 3 afterschool clubs. Monday is Scratch animation, Thursday is Making Games with Kodu and Friday is Computing Club.
In Scratch we have been making animations about our school and also about Scotland as that is our topic at the moment in school. We are making a project about our school as we are going to share projects with a school in America and find out about their school too.
In Kodu club we have been having a refresher to perfect some of the things we have been learning such as making paths and making our worlds. We are ready to start getting into group s and designing our own games now which is going to be lots of fun.
Lastly our Friday club have been busy we have learned about binary (the language of computers) and we made little keyrings with our initials in binary on them which was lots of fun. We then learned about algorithms (sets of instructions) and we got to learn a cool magic trick to help explain how this works.
