Curriculum

Please click on the picture to see our Curriculum Rationale (updated in August 2023)

This was created with input from all school partners so that staff, children and parents/carers know what we value as a school. While every school in Scotland follows the Curriculum for Excellence (see below), this looks different in every school depending on each school’s strengths, resources and priorities for their school and community.

Our Curriculum Rationale helps explain what experiences our children receive in our school, which may differ from other schools.

The Curriculum For Excellence is split into subject areas taught using the broad categories within each subject area.
