There is no need to sign up in advance for in school supported study. Pupils can attend any session for any subject and level they are sitting, even if it is not their class teacher delivering the session. The school canteen will be closed during the Easter holidays. If young people are planning on staying in school for both sessions, they should bring something to eat with them or money to buy something from the local community. There is also an option of quiet, individual study in the Library.

Start of Options Process for S2 and S3 pupils

During week beginning 02.12.24 we will begin a series of activities to introduce options choice to pupils in S2 and pupils in S3.

These are designed to get pupils thinking about the transition to the next year, planned for May 2025. There will be separate assemblies for pupils in both S2 and S3.

Details about these are given in the letter that was shared electronically 29.11.24. A sample of the letter is available here:

ApparelXchange Clothing Donations

We are working with ApparelXchange to collect all types of unwanted clothing & footwear, including school uniform, active wear, shoes, trainers and jackets for reuse. If you have any of these items you no longer need or can gift to friends or family, please clean, fold and bag up. Please hand in donations to the school janitor’s office by Thursday 20th June.

This is located at the right of the main school entrance. All the donations will be collected by ApparelXchange sorted, quality checked, reused or recycled. They are available for reuse at low cost or for free to families who need some extra support. Lots of clothing still gets thrown away, when it can be reused for social and environmental good. So, have a pre summer clear out, and bring in those donations by Thursday 20th June . We really appreciate your support.
