Edinburgh Book Festival

Primary 5 had a fantastic time at the Edinburgh Book Festival today! Several of our class volunteered to go up on stage during the event with Chloe Daykin, which was very brave. We also saw a short science show, and visited the book shop – there will be lots of reading going on at home over the next few weeks, I think!

The class behaved very well and we will talk about all that we learnt tomorrow.

Thanks again to all the parent helpers – you were brilliant!

Trip to the Edinburgh Book Festival

A wee reminder that children should bring a packed lunch and waterproofs (in case of rain) on Tuesday for the trip to the book festival. Children can also bring some money to buy books (up to £10 – no more, please).

We’re all very excited about meeting the author of our class novel!

Welcome to Primary 5

Welcome to the Primary 5 Class Blog for 2018-2019! Thank you to everyone who came along to the Meet the Teacher event this afternoon – it was lovely to meet you all. I hope I was able to answer any questions or concerns that you had. For anyone who was unable to attend, I’ve uploaded the PowerPoint slides, which have some information on about the class timetable, homework, communication, etc.

I’m looking forward to working with you this year!
