The Transition boys had a great time at their pizza party and enjoyed dancing with all their friends. They were Effective Contributors by helping setting up the gym hall and making the selfie station. The boys had groovy time.

Although there were no cookies involved there was a crumble. The Transition boys made quite a large Apple crumble on Thursday in cooking and it was delicious. Everyone did their jobs very well and were all Effective Contributors during the morning. None managed to make it home and for a change it wasn’t Mr Jenkinson’s fault.
The boys in transition had a bit of fun this week with a sensory story about a haircut read by Mr Nicoll. They were all Effective Contributors and as you can see their favourite part was when they got a hair cut. Ethan quite suits it I’d say.
A moment to shine for all in this busy session where we all worked hard until we felt tired; a bit of a recap of the years activities. Well done Stars and Stars staff and brilliant photographer
The Stars class invited the Sungazers class to a Bush Tucker Treasure Hunt in the sensory garden. We looked for fruit pictured in our worksheet and counted them. Afterwards we had a sociable snack together in the Stars class. Everybody seemed to have a good time.
The Stars class have planted vegetable plants in the school garden. We have planted peas, courgettes, pumpkins, carrots, onions and potatoes. We keep them well watered and hope we will have a healthy crop of vegetables to harvest after the holidays.
Good News! The Stars class all did tremendously well at prizegiving. We all got best work certificates and fantastic Willowbank baseball hats from Friends of Willowbank.
The Transition boys were Effective Contributors in their numeracy lesson. The boys were given a puzzle and they had to put it together matching the correct picture with the correct number. They were also given sheet to colour to work out different ways to make a total of ten.
At our class assembly this week we told the primary department all about our Australia theme. We had great fun playing our home made didgeridoo.
