The Oak Class have been busy boys this week with all of their maths work. They have really enjoyed the variety of maths activities.
All the boys have been successful learners.
During this activity the boys had to know their directions as they were blind folded and had to listen to instructions very carefully to get to the opposite side carefully.
Blake and Jack had to guide Mr Bark safely to the end using their knowledge of left, right, forwards and backwards.
The boys then had to do a hunt following instructions of how many steps to get to the jigsaw piece and which direction to go.
They worked as a team to put the jigsaw pieces of our class together!

The Beech class have really enjoyed ‘Maths Week’. We took part in and experienced a variety of maths based activities. We did shape work, time activities, position and movement work as well as practised ,making patterns, with colours, textures and lego bricks. We were very successful learners!
Transition boys were successful learners by spelling their names onto the whiteboards. Well done boys!
Transition boys were effective contributors at cookery today. We made tasty pancakes with amazing toppings. Yummy!
This week is national maths week and we have been busy bees doing lots of different maths activities. We were using the fine motor threading bears and buttons. We were using our funky fingers and were discussing the different colours of the buttons.
We also used tissue paper and laminate sheets to create our own number maths for our colourful sensory table.
On Thursday we had a number hunt around the school looking for numbers that were stuck up around the halls.
Transition boys were successful learners racing each other in teams of 2 using colour hoops.
On Monday the Pine class looked at hot versus cold and we made some ice cream – yummy!!!
We used paper plates and paints to create snake plates. Watch this space to see how are going to use them.
It’s National Maths Week in school and the Snowdrops have been busy successful learners, exploring numbers through lots of fun play activities. We also made our own confident choices of number work to take home.
