We have had a lot of fun activities over the month of December. Visit from reindeers, Santa, trip to the cinema to see Incredibles 2, lots of arts and crafts. Then our big performance in the Christmas show- ‘The Band’. All the boys were confident individuals and successful learners, working so hard to learning their pieces of music for their Jingle Bell performance. Very proud of all the boys!

Christmas Party Fun!
* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS *
The Moonbeams class had lots of fun at the Christmas party. We loved showing off our fancy dance moves, playing musical statues and pass the parcel. Some of our class were winners at the games and won some chocolate!
The best bit of the party was when Santa Claus came to visit. He brought us an early Christmas present
Look who came to visit….
SANTA!!!!
The Stars class rehearsed hard for the school show. We looked at, listened to and practised singing and signing to the songs, ‘When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney’, ‘Frosty the Snowman’, ‘Silent Night’ and finally ‘Reach For the Stars’. Alongside the Moonbeams and Sungazers classes we dressed up in character and held props to perform.
FAOL – SCIENCES
The Stars Class touched a selection of warm and cold items, showing their preferences. We also chose clothes for hot and cold weather whilst talking about winter and summer.
* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS *
The Moonbeams class enjoyed tasting a range of Christmas themed foods and drinks. We had to decide whether we enjoyed them or not and complete the worksheet. Every pupil was brave enough to smell, kiss or taste the items.
We tried mince pies, roast potatoes, parsnips, candy canes and a luxury hot chocolate. Yum!!!
* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS *
The Moonbeams class have worked really hard over the last few weeks preparing for their Christmas show. They made props for our Frosty the Snowman song and stars for the finale ‘Reach for the Stars’.
Each child took on a role on the day and coped well with the rehearsals and performances.
Christmas Jumper Day
Look at us in our Christmas Jumpers!!!
The Sungazers were ‘Confident Individuals’ as they used a variety of materials to design their own Christmas jumpers.
Bluebells enjoying the Artie Show!
The boys in the Bluebells loved watching Artie on Friday. They demonstrated being responsible and confident as they followed school rules while taking part in the show with the whole school.
