Cookery

We have had a busy week  back at school. The Sunflower boys have enjoyed doing lots of different activities. On Thursday we made French toast. We had to crack the eggs into the bowl and then use to whisk to whisk up the egg. Some of the boys even helped to flip the French toast in the frying pan. Most of us tried our finished product.

ECO Work

The Beech class have been learning about water and sanitation.  We have learned about the water cycle and today we looked at what we use water for in school and at home.  We then had a look at a video made by young people in Africa showing how they have to walk up to 4 miles to collect water.  To help us appreciate how lucky we are to have clean water on tap in our homes and schools, we collected water in buckets and experienced what it feels like to carry water across a distance!
