The boys were successful learners and responsible citizens this morning. As part of health and well-being we are looking at caring for others. Today we got the babies out for a bath. The boys were very careful and cleaned and dressed the babies ready to be returned to the conservatory.
Fun in the Snow
We enjoyed accessing the playground this week and exploring the snow. We were successful learners and counted our footsteps when walking in the snow, and used instructional language to tell others if we wanted to go faster or slower on the sledges.
FAOL: Outdoor Learning
The Bluebells have enjoyed opportunities for brain break activities outside. The pupils have engaged in a number of activities from ball skills to running in and out of obstacles while holding props. The pupils have demonstrated that they can be effective contributors during all of these activities and show that they are confident individuals while engaging with the Transition class in new activities. This week they enjoyed some snow fun with the older boys!
A week in the Sungazers

Macaroni Mayhem
Transition boys were exploring healthy alternatives in cooking this week. They were Effective Contributors when they made macaroni and cheese as a group. The healthy twist was pureed cauliflower as the base for the cheese sauce. Yum Yum!
What Scotland means to me?
With Burns Night and a focus on Scotland the Transition boys were Confident Individuals when they discussed what Scotland means to them. They selected images of their favourite Scottish items and created a lovely wall display.
Snow Poetry
Swimming lessons at the Galleon were cancelled this week because of the snow. This gave the Transition boys a chance to be Successful Learners when reading snow poetry in class and answering questions at the end.
Snow fun
The Transition boys had great fun in the snow with their shiny new sledges, which they won for naming the “The Nitty Gritter” gritter. They were all Resposible Citizens helping the younger pupils in the snow and sharing their sledge.
