P5/4 have been working on playscripts this term, looking at the play ‘Twelfth Night’ by Shakespeare. To show what they have learned about performance, interpreting characters and stage directions, they put their hard work on display during a visit to Kilchrenan today and brought the house down

This term, p1 have been making connections between lots of different skills that they have to do with number. They showed that they can make and amount with coins and Numicon, write the number name and amount in figures. They can also half these amounts by sharing equally. They really liked doing this outdoors.

P7/6 Topic Presentations
P7/6 kicked off their class presentations today with a fantastic variety of projects – there was spectacular knowledge of cars, a manga drawing lesson, information about black & white holes and space themed cup cakes , hints on eating healthily and how to cook some Venezuelan dishes and some farm items to identify and lots of amoo-zing cow facts!

Lochgoilhead Info Evening
There was a good turnout of parents and children from Dalmally and Taynuilt Primaries for the information evening about our Outdoor Residential trip that is scheduled for the second week back in August.
Sports Day
The sun shone and we had fun.
Many members of the local village community joined us and a great time was had by all. There was plenty of food and fruit to go round.

Mr Gary Johnson from HMIe visited today to consult Staff, Parents and Children on their views regarding the rezoning of St Columba’s catchment area.
