Calum discovered ‘A Westie’ in the ice bucket.
A cool dude.
The children of P5/4 have made it their mission to keep our grounds tidy this autumn. They are very busy every playtime raking leaves and buzzing about in ….wheeelbarrows.
They all take the task very seriously and have done a very good and thorough job of clearing all the leaves.
We worked together for at least a week to move the clippings to the ELC garden so that the ground there would be drier for the pre 5 children to play in.
On Friday we are closed for INSERVICE training.
Monday is also a holiday
The school will also be closed next Monday the 29th as this is a holiday. ELC Garden Now that the external works have been completed the children will work out the next part of the plan for how they want to use the garden space. A waterbutt has already been dragged into position and the mud kitchen is open for business once more. Watch this space for some yummy recipes.
The children have had a whale of a time today exploring the new outdoor equipment that was delivered today. The ELC crawled straight into the pipes and barrels and the P6/5 worked out how to make large structures from 3D shapes.
