ELC Week Beginning 18.05.23

All being well we plan to hole our Sports day on Friday of this week.

The ELC children will remain in school for the morning session and will walk down to the sports field after their lunch. The traditional races and shinnanigans will take place in the afternoon. All families and the village community are welcome to attend- and can arrive anytime between 1 and 3 pm. Children will be collected from the sports field as we are not returning to school at the end of the day. Children should bring a sun hat and sunscreen as they will be outside for a long time. Cool water and ice lollies will be available for all.

Science centre visit

On  Thursday the 27th April our whole school visited the Glasgow Science Centre. Click on the Sway below to see photos from the day.

In the design Lab we created self powered vehicles.

Cheerio for now to Mrs Ralston

P6/5 Gave Mrs Ralston some lovely gifts to say thank you for being their class teacher. We all wish her well as she moves to Lochnell Primary to be the acting Headteacher there for the summer term and look forward to welcoming her back to work with us again in the autumn. .

Cheerio to Miss Pate

Today the children of p6/5 waved a fond farewell to Miss Pate.

They had a lovely day cooking up a feast and took it home to share with their families.

We would like to wish Miss Pate all the best with everything she does in the future and hope she enjoys the kind gifts we presented to her to thank her for being our class teacher for the last 18 months.
