Taynuilt Primary School and ELC
The life and learning of a village school in the west of Scotland
A huge thank you to all who organised and came along to our car boot sale last weekend, with an especially big thanks to our ELC who raised a brilliant £377!! A very successful, bargain filled day!

The staff and children of the ELC prepared a super entry for the St Conan’s Kirk Christmas Tree Competition based on a recycling theme.
This morning the children from the ELC went for a walk around our school grounds. On the way they picked up lots of litter that the older children had dropped. Here is what they collected, they took the bag round the classes and asked the children to remember to put litter in the bins instead of dropping it on the ground.
On Wednesday afternoon, as part of the ELC to P1 transition days, our new P1s made fairy cakes with their new buddies. They were yummy!

The ELC parents appointments are being held today and tomorrow in the Nursery . Individual time slots have been allotted by the school office.
Our Early Years Support officer visited today.
The ELC had an empty classroom day on Thursday 24th May, when they walked over to Inverawe to look for dragons, let their butterflies go free, followed the fairy tale woodland walk and, or course, had a play in the play park.
A great time was had by all.
