The life and learning of a village school in the west of Scotland
A group of children from each class met with Mrs harrison to discuss what we could do to help keep our Crossing Patrol person.

This week P5/4 managed their weekly road safety walk, between showers! The leaders Emma and Grace completed a risk assessment and led the class around the village, safely crossing the main road. Leadership skills, life skills, responsibility and personal safety. A wee blast of fresh air and exercise too.
The staff and children of the ELC prepared a super entry for the St Conan’s Kirk Christmas Tree Competition based on a recycling theme.
This morning the children from the ELC went for a walk around our school grounds. On the way they picked up lots of litter that the older children had dropped. Here is what they collected, they took the bag round the classes and asked  the children to remember to put litter in the bins instead of dropping it on the ground.
A total of £ ? was raised.
many thanks to all who contributed.
As part of their topic on ‘The Visitors Centre’ P1-3 paid a visit to the Crauachan Visitors Centre to interview the staff about their roles.
