What day is it today?

The movement song for today is ...

Life skills ideas

When snack or lunch are finished, remember to put your plate in the sink.

Techonology

ask your mum or your dad to help you make coloured rice

all you need is rice, a plastic bag and food colouring.

then time to experiment and use utensils like when you are in class,

Dance

check Rachel’s posts and have fun.

Story

You all know this story as we use the sensory bag in class.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPQRiSTYFHo

Sign of the day

remember to check the sign in Lorna’s posts.  Which one is it?  Can you show me?

Fiddly fingers

you could do some finger painting.  If you don’t have any paint, don’t worry, you can make some by using cornflour, water and food colouring.  It is just as good.  Have a go at decorating this Easter egg.

Gardening

How about something fun today?  It’s nearly Easter so why not make some lovely mud cakes?

like this maybe , but don’t worry if you can’t find flowers, you can use grass or pebbles

so you will need to follow this recipe!

For Health and wellbeing,

I suggest you try some yoga

Have a fab day!

The weather forecast is for cloudy weather where I live but at the moment it is too dark to see!

It is too dark to see the weather yet!

What is the weather like outside your window?

Today’s suggested timetable is: PSD, ICT, Dance and snack, story, sign of the day and fiddly fingers. Then lunch followed by Gardening and health and well-being.

During PSD time I am going to join in with Gerry’s movement session to try to ease up my sore knees and back. Why not join in too?

Check out the ICT page for today’s suggested tasks and then relax with Rachel and some of her dance moves.

The story choices today are …

In this story a sleep bear gets woken up by his friends. Find out why they are so keen for him to wake up and what he gets up to whilst they sleep.

or …

In this story Slinky Malinki (a cat) goes out to meet his friends. Find out what they get up to and where they all settle down at the end of the night.

At the moment Bear Stays Up has the most votes so if you would like to see Slinky Malinki you better let me know by replying to this post! I will post the most requested story after break.

For Fiddly Fingers can you build a teddy tower. I managed a tower of 5 teddies. Could you do better? Let me know how you got on or e-mail me a picture.
