Today I am feeling like Mr Grumpy because my family are very messy and I have to keep tidying up after them! This is what I feel like doing when I have to tidy away their things!
Who do you feel like today?
For Life-skills today could you do some tidying? It would make me feel better to know that other people have to tidy too.
Why not put some music on whilst you are tidying and make it your movement time?
I am going to put on this track. I think it will cheer me up and help me tidy more quickly.
Your first lesson today is Maths so check out Steve’s posts for some activities.
Then it’s time for fiddly fingers. Today why not try balancing things on top of each other? You could balance stones from the garden, cups or even cushions. Perhaps you could send me a photo of how you get on?
Take a break and then come back for story-time at 10.30. Today’s story is Peppa’s Fishy Friends. I hope you enjoy it.
Then check out Sign of the day with Lorna and Music with Gordon and Connie.
After lunch it is Sensory time so why not check out some of Tracey’s new posts in the Sensory section.
Dance is the last lesson of the day, so head over to the dance section to find out what Rachel has planned for you.
Materials needed: Bubble solution, food colouring, straws and tape, paper.
Method: Place some bubble solution in a bowl and add some food colouring. If you do not have bubble solution you can make your own with some washing up liquid and water. Get some straws and tape them together. Dip one end of the straws in the mixture and blow through the other end of the straw to create bubbles. Try to aim the bubbles at the piece of paper! I recommend using a large sheet of paper if possible. If you have blowers that come with the bubble mixtures then you can use them also. Once the bubbles have burst on the surface of the paper you will be left with a lovey effect.
