Noisy Nativity 2023
What a fantastic nativity performance our pupils put on this year! Well done to all the pupils and staff who made it such a fabulous show! Here are some of the highlights from the performance and preparation:
50th Birthday Celebrations
We had a fantastic time celebrating 50 years of Pinewood School. The pupils enjoyed a party in the hall with music, dancing and some guest appearances from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Marshall. Our other visitors were a (very speedy!) Tortoise called victor, a snake and a bull frog, which most of the pupils enjoyed meeting!
Orange Class – Sharing the Learning at Assembly

Remembrance Day Display
Well done to all the pupils for making so many beautiful poppies to make our soldier. He standing proud in the hall for everyone in Pinewood to remember the soldiers who have fought in wars to keep us safe.

Maths Week 2023
Pupils enjoyed lots of activities during our Maths Week Focus to take part in ‘Maths Week Scotland’. There was a number hunt around the daily k route, lots of sorting of autumn leaves and an activity day in the hall where classes spent time exploring measuring, pattern making, weighing, matching and sorting.
Brilliant Fun with the Bike Library
We had a brilliant day trying out different adapted bikes from the West Lothian Bike Library. The pupils (and staff!) had great fun cycling around our daily K route!
Pupil Council Meetings 4th October 2023
We had a super first pupil council meeting for both the primary and the secondary. You can see below what they discussed during their meetings on the minutes.
