Health and Wellbeing (HWB)

Time to get out the house! Go out into your garden or out for a walk. Take a note (either write it down or just tell an adult) – what can you see? What can you smell? What can you hear?

Come up with as many things as possible. This is called being “mindful” and it is very good at keeping us calm and in the moment. It’s important to be as mindful as possible just now and enjoy the moment.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Amy

Tuesday 24th March

Hello again,

You will see there’s a selection of things on today’s timetable so just keep an eye out for lots of ideas coming your way! You can select each category down the side of the blog so if you don’t see it on Silver Class 3 try selecting something different e.g. “gardening” or “Dance”.

Circle Time

Good morning!

Here is our circle time routine if you would like to do your own circle time in the mornings! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • We sing our Good morning song (see yesterday’s blog post!)
  • We then say Good morning to each other
  • We sing the Days of the week song (see Amy’s silly video!) and choose our symbol for the day

  • After that we will sing our Months of the Year song (see video) and share which month it is!

  • Then it’s time for our weather song and choosing the symbol!

  • We sometimes also discuss our feelings and emotions and choose how we feel that day

  • And finally, time for a movement song! Here are some favourites of the Silver class:

Have a lovely morning everyone!

Hi Silver class,

This is a favourite game of ours. There’s lots of options but usually we use “Number bonds – Make 10”. If your child is unable to add then tell them the answer and they must select the correct number. Lovely way to practise number recognition.

There’s also timetables, etc for those who are able to do this. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun!!
