Hello everyone!Welcome to the link for the 60th Story Time from Home.
Today’s story is all about a boy who gets stuck on the moon. It’s another of my favourite stories even if it is a bit silly! I do hope you enjoy it too.

Hello P2/1,
I hope that you are all well and still trying to do some activities from our home learning plan even though there are only a few days now until the holidays. Here is the link to the 60th Story Time from Home! It is all about a boy who gets stuck on the moon!
Hopefully the weather will get a bit better and you’ll all be able to get out more and play. I have been back working in our school all week so I know that it hasn’t been very nice in Linlithgow at all. Do remember to give me a wave or say hello if you see me!
Miss McDermott
Have you been planting seeds during lock down? I bet you’ve never planted dinosaur seeds! Here’s another super story from one of our P5 Buddies – How to Grow a Dinosaur.
Here’s another super story from home, The Secret Path!
Good morning Primary 3, I love to go to the beach do you?
It’s almost time for the Summer holidays and I hope we will all get to the beach sometime soon but we can go today through the magic of music!
Today’s clip is all about the sea and there is a song to learn and sing, a story to hear and some listening which I hope will take you to the beach!
After you’ve tried the song, scroll down to the story of The Magic Fish and then down to the listening activity. Close your eyes and you can just about feel you’re at the sea side! See how many sounds you can hear then draw a lovely sea side picture! Have a great Summer!
Good morning Primary 2, I love to go to the beach do you?

Good morning – today we are going to learn some French together. We have been having beautiful sunny days and hot weather lately, so I thought maybe we could practise asking somebody what the weather is like and giving different answers. Don’t worry if you can’t remember these off by heart though, we are just working on our awareness and pronunciation at the moment.
So… here is a little PowerPoint that you can open and have a look at. It introduces different weather words and then has a little quiz: French Weather PowerPoint
The PowerPoint unfortunately doesn’t let you hear the pronunciation so I have recorded a very basic video (that I cannot seem to make any less enormous – sorry!) to help with that as best I can.
Activity 1: Connect Four
Why not try a game of Connect Four to practise saying what the weather is like?
Activity 2: Draw the Weather
Ask an adult to read the French weather sentences and draw the correct weather in the picture.
Activity 3:
Have a listen to some French weather videos and songs on YouTube. Here is a good one to help you with your pronunciation: http://Link to French weather video!
Here is another French song about the weather which I like watching because it is quite funny, don’t worry if you don’t know all the words though, it is just nice sometimes to listen to something in another language to get a feel for it!
I hope you have enjoyed learning a bit more French today. I cannot believe this is the last week of term. It is very sad that we cannot be together in our classrooms, but I want you all to feel very proud of yourselves for being such superstars. You are all amazing and your teachers are all really looking forward to seeing you around school after the summer to say a huge hello and give air hugs!
Take care,
Your P1 Teachers 😀
Good morning, everyone.
I hope you are all good on this last Tuesday of P2! Here is Mr Strong cooking some delicious muffins with one of my favourite fruits! I will have to try these at home.
Here is one of the Mr Men which we would always talk about. We would always mention this character when we were talking about being resilient and not giving up. Can you remember who he is? I hope you enjoy watching this video.
Have a wonderful Tuesday.
Mrs Herbison
Morning,
Today I thought I would share with you some ideas for your at home sports day. I had great fun doing one with my family at the end of last week and here is a little video of us taking part.
The activities we did are explained in the file linked below.
We would love to see how you get on
Best Wishes
Mr Brice
Good Morning 3A!
Very well done to you all for your efforts on Sumdog. P3a are doing so well. As I type this we are in 15th place in all of West Lothian!
At the end of school year, we often take time to reflect on our achievements from the year. Today you might want to write down some things you are proud of (both in and out of school). You could add special memories, things you enjoyed and maybe some targets for P4. It’s been a very strange end to the term for everyone. My highlights from our class this year are… our Egyptians assembly, hearing the class talks, teaching you all a bit of cheerleading during P.E. and playing the different drama games.
I’ll see you back on the blog on Friday for our last day.
Mrs Bell
Good Morning, everyone.
I hope everyone was happy with their School Reports yesterday. Mrs Boyle and I have certainly been very impressed with the progress you have all made in Primary 2. We are also very proud of the effort and creativity we have seen over the last 12 weeks when you have been learning at home.
Lots of you are continuing to enjoy learning about minibeasts. One of our class has been looking after caterpillars and sent a picture to show that the butterflies have emerged from their cocoons.
I thought you might like to listen to this story about another minibeast, a little cricket who has lost his song. He sets of to try and find it and meets lots of different minibeasts on his travels.
Here is another story about a little chameleon by the same author. The Mixed-Up Chameleon learns an important lesson about being itself when it wishes it could be more like all the other animals it sees, but soon decides it would rather just be a chameleon.
This is a very catchy French song about a little cameleon called Leon. See if you can spot all the French colour words in the song.
Have a lovely day,
Mrs Mills
After listening to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears how about trying to retell the story to your family. You could check your toybox and bedroom for toys to be the characters, you will need a big, medium and small toy. You could ask a grown up for 3 different sized bowls and spoons and maybe you have some different kinds of chairs you could use. You could make the toys act out the story using funny voices for the bears and Goldilocks. I hope your family enjoy your version of this lovely story. (Just please don’t break any chairs though)
Hello everyone,
Thank you for all the messages yesterday to let me know that you’ve started on the Health and Wellbeing and Fitness Challenges. This is a great way to end the final term even though it is sad that we can’t be doing them together.
I hope you enjoy’s today’s story which is set in school and all about a teacher who falls in love even though she has some unwelcome visitors. You will need to watch the video to find out more and to see another appearance by Tufty!
Below is a link to a very short video appearance by Cleo who as you know is much more camera shy than Tufty!
Remember you can still watch any of the other Story Time from Home videos that you have missed.
Have a nice day.
Miss McDermott
