Become a Disney play leader

Dear Parents/Carers
If you have ever considered undertaking any training to get more children active please see details below of the Disney Playmakers course. It’s an SFA course designed to engage young girls with physical activity through storytelling and football – all linked to Disney movies. No prior football knowledge is needed!

Dates for the Play Leader training (note that all 3 dates need to be attended):

Session 1: Wednesday 29th November 6-9pm (online)

Session 2: Sunday 3rd December 6-9pm (online)

Session 3:  Wednesday 13th December 6-9pm (online)

No prior knowledge of football is required and the purpose of the programme is to build fundamental movement skills, to teach life skills and value and to develop football basics – all through storytelling!

Attendees will gain the SFA Early Touches qualification as part of the training.

If anyone from your school would like to attend the training, they can register by sending David Baird the following details, their:

  • Name
  • Email
  • SFA Live ID Number (if they have one)

David.Baird@scottishfa.co.uk

UEFA Playmakers is a school-based session. Once trained to deliver the programme we will allocate Play Leaders to schools in their local community to deliver the programme for girls aged 5-8.
