Well folks, it’s nearly the end of another term as well as the end of the school year and our time in the old Beatlie School campus!
It’s been another fun and busy term with lots of activities and we have put together a short video of our 2 favourites…
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy summer 🌞, hopefully we’ll see lots of you at the Beatlie Bash on Friday 🥳 and then it’ll be time for lots of new adventures in our amazing new school! 😊
Team Pentland 💚
All the pupils and staff from Beatlie were joined by some family and friends to go on a whole school walk as part of our walking month.
The weather was on our side and we had a cracking morning walking around Craigshill and up to the new school.
We are virtual walking from John O’Groates to Lands End and this walk has been added to our total……………
This week we have managed a whopping 219 miles!!!
So I have calculated that we have reached Dunkeld
Amazing Bealtie Keep up the good work.
On Monday Beatlie participated in the annual Spring Clean for Scotland.
All classes participated in a litter pick out and about in the local community.
Please have a look at the amazing effort made by our Eco Warriors!!!!
We braved the rain to wrap the school in green ribbon for World Mental Health Day, giving ourselves a big green hug!!!
Ochiltree has had a fantastic start to the year and we have had a great time learning, having fun and getting to know each other.
We were busy the first couple of weeks making displays for our Class Charter and our Target work. Our theme being balloons. So we had a fun photo shoot to help make the display.
The boys have been enjoying our Boys Group that we have started – they are going to have the girls heads turning by the end of the year they will be looking and smelling so good! They have been really motivated and trying hard to help themselves with their own personal care and we are looking forward to seeing how well they come on over the year.
The children are working hard to achieve their IEP targets as well as ASDAN and SQA quaalifications. They are working well individually to carry out class jobs/home chores as well as physical exercises and trying out new experiences such as rebound, archery, meeting new animal friends and peers.
We hope you all have a great holiday and we are looking forward to the next term and all things Christmasy! x
This week Ochiltree and Duntarvie enjoyed a messy but fun assembly all about what it takes to make a goodfriend.
Please have a look at the lovely video made up of the photos taken.
