Primary 2 have been learning all about the features of 2D and 3D shape. They know how to count the corners (vertices), faces and edges. The children were shape detectives at home and searched for 3D shapes in their house to make their very own 3D objects. They used their imagination and created a wonderful selection of objects. Some of their objects include robots, a house, a mouse, a church, a skylander, a car and a doctor’s needle. The children enjoyed showing their friends their hard work and talking about the shapes that they used. Here are some photographs to show all of our hard work.
Thank you to all of the mum’s and dad’s for helping the children on their projects!
