A great visit to Broxburn Library today for Primary 5 A and B.  We learned that a lot of things were MUCH cheaper in the 1960s than they are today, but that many people didn’t have very much money to spare.  We learned that most houses would only have one black and white television and the whole family would gather around it in the living room where it would be warm from the fire to watch favourite programmes such as Coronation Street!  Here we are at the library and here are some of our fantastic 1960s costumes!
