Here is a small sample of what we have been doing in P5C this week.

 

 

We are still working hard with Mr Orr and Mrs Barratt finding which instrument we want to play in the band.

 

 We were working on our skills throwing the Javelin.

 

 

We have been enjoying our daily mile.

 

We enjoyed using the app Chatterkids to make pictures talk. 

 

 

Last week was Digital Learning Week where the children were given lots of opportunities to work on lessons using ICT.

We used the iPads to create digital books using the app Book Creator.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We used the iPads to create mind maps on the Aztecs using the Popplet app.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We worked with Mr Grant on our Forces project looking at Acceleration. We put a chip inside a sponge ball and then took turns throwing and kicking the ball. The results of how fast the ball was going were shown on the computer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We worked hard on our Aztec reports.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We enjoy reading with our P1 Reading Buddies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had fun with the P7 Sports Leaders on Friday afternoon.

Before we stopped for the Easter Break Finn was our Star of the Week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We had our Oscars Ceremony on Friday.

Lots of hard work and patience went in to the Animations and we had fun at our Ceremony and the after party.

We had fun today designing and creating

our eggs for our competition.

We used our budgeting skills to plan a party for 10 people.

 

We are using what we know about money.

 

 

 

 

 

We are having fun working on our animations for our Topic. We have looked at animation and we are using Stop Go Animation to create our masterpieces.  

We have been working hard and doing lots of fun activities.

We loved practising our Think Dance and then performing at the MacRobert.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We enjoyed buying books at the Ghana fundraising book sale.

Well done to my stars of P5C. You were all amazing tonight and I could not be more proud of each and every one of you.

You all worked hard and rose to the challenge.

Just to let you all know that the children will be going to the MacRobert Theatre on Tuesday for a dress rehearsal.

We should be back in school in time for lunch. However, there is a chance we may be late back.

Could you please make sure your child has a packed lunch on Tuesday. If they are a school dinner I will ensure we provide a packed lunch for them.

Just a wee reminder to let you know our Think Dance performance is on Tuesday 27th February at the MacRobert Theatre.

The children have to be at the MacRobert for 6.30pm where they will be met by a member of Active Stirling. I will also be at the theatre.

I have a parent who has 4 extra tickets for anyone who may have been too late to  purchase any.  Please let me know if you are interested in the tickets.

The children have been working very hard on their performance and are really looking forward to sharing it with you.
