Learners as teachers!
This week Primary 7G have started delivering their own planned lessons to the rest of the class. Today we learned about the science behind slime and how to make it as well as learning how to draw Manga characters and we even learned how to play a chord on the guitar!
P7 Championship Events
The P7 pupils have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this year’s Championship events. Here are some photographs from yesterday’s High Jump Final.

Word Aware
Primary 3C and some children from Primary4/5K enjoyed an afternoon session of Word Aware together in the Dinner Hall.
They played a variety of games and made resources that aim to develop their vocabulary knowledge and understanding.
P6 Packed Lunch with Nursery Buddies
The P6 big Buddies enjoyed having a packed lunch with their wee nursery buddies to show these wee buddies what it will be like when they come to school after the summer. All buddies had a great time and even managed to fit in a play time in the quadrangle.
P4/5K Sharing their Learning
Primary 4/5K shared the Aztec books they had created on the i-Pads with the children in P3/4.
The children enjoyed listening to the information and looking at the images.

Aztec Art : Masks of Gods in clay or collage materials
Aztec Alphabet: Writing messages using the symbols for our classmates to decipher
Aztec Books: The class worked in pairs to create their book on an i-Pad using the Book Creator app. They shared and read their factual books with children in P3/4 and P2R.
P5/6 Create Pneumatic Crocodiles
In P5/6 this week we finished designing our pneumatic crocodile designs. We used tubing and a balloon to create them in small groups.
They look fab!
