For this milestone your child needs to be able to draw a picture that clearly represents elements of the story that they are telling about their picture.
For example, if they draw a picture of themselves at a birthday party, and say that there was a cake and presents and they were there with their friend, in the picture there would need to be them, their friend, a cake, and presents.
