Your child should be able to tap out or repeat a three syllable word.
Such as…
* ae / ro / plane
* cho / co/ late
* ba / na / na
* a / ni / mal
* po / ta / to
* ast / ro / naut
If your child is able to tap out / clap all the syllables accurately then you can challenge them further by asking them to think of words with 2 / 3 / syllables etc. or ask them to tap out four syllable words.
