I can recognise and name some letters.
For this milestone to be achieved your child needs to be able to name 5 or more letters accurately, including the initial letter of their name.
Encourage your child to write/copy their name and encourage the identification of the letters in their name.
Also be on the look out for environmental prints! When you come to nursery or you are out and about ask your child to find letters in the environment – street signs etc, and see if they can identify and letters.
