I can demonstrate fine motor skills.
For this activity your child needs to be able to demonstrate fine motor skills by threading beads, holding scissors correctly and being able to cut, and being able to hold a pencil correctly (tripod grip).
Beads can be obtained from your child’s Key Worker for your child to thread at home, safety scissors can also be provided if you do not have any at home.
Encourage your child to thread using the beads, hold the scissors correctly and cut some paper with them, and hold their pencil correctly when drawing/writing. If you see your child drawing/writing and not using their pencil correctly please help them to correct their grip to a tripod grip.
