Milestone 3

I know that the last number I say is the last amount I have counted.

This activity is to develop your child’s counting skills. Your child will learn how to count objects, remember what they have counted without trying to recount.

So far e.g. give your child items/objects, a small amount to begin with then build up the amount. Ask them to touch and to count objects accurately. After they have counted them, ask your child How many did you count? Your child should then say the amount accurately without recounting.
