Can I say  big well done to all the boys and girls who are taking part in the Sumdog challenges. It is a great resource to use at home as it takes what we are learning in class and turns it into a fun game. It is free to use and is a great way for teachers to keep track on how well you are doing. If you don’t have equipment at home that the children can use please let us know and we will see if we can help.

Thanks,

Mrs McGill

Primary 2/1 Happy Holidays

Hi Everyone,

Now that the first term in school is over and the holiday break is beginning I just wanted to take a minute to say a big WELL DONE to all the boys and girls in our class. They have all settled in really well to school life and have been working so hard in class. You have made me so proud.

I would also like to say a special thank you for your support over these last few months in helping to make your child’s first term at school a great success.

I hope you and your family have a safe and relaxing October break.

Mrs McGill

Primary 2/1 Homework Week Beginning 21st September

Hello everyone,

First and foremost apologies for any confusion over homework last week. I hope this week everything is clear and you have everything you need. 🙂

Your child has been issued with a clear plastic folder with a red zip. This folder is for bringing homework home from school only and should be returned the following day. On the label it will say your child’s name, class and which group they are working in at the moment. (Red, Green or Blue) Please keep jotters/worksheets at home for now.

Please find attached the tasks set for your child and see the accompanying support materials. A copy of this can be found in the wallet too. As it is a short week the children only have tasks set for Monday and Tuesday. Reading books will be due to be returned on Wednesday.
