Weekly Update: 5th – 9th November

  • Bridges to Schools Event

Primary 7’s from our associated primary schools took part in the Bridges to School Event run by Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) in conjunction with Network Rail. Pupils worked in teams and used their individual roles to successfully assemble a cable-stayed bridge securely. In order to be successful, pupils had to effectively communicate and problem solve together.

Thank you very much to Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) in conjunction with Network Rail who expertly delivered the event across the two day event.  Also, thank you to our wonderful S6 students and STEM Ambassadors who helped supervise and organise the day. A final thank you to all of our associated primary schools for their enthusiasm, effort and participation

We were delighted to welcome back Tree of Knowledge to deliver another excellent series of workshops, this time to students in S1.
