As you may be aware, two of the teacher unions, the Scottish Secondary Teachers’ Association (SSTA) and the National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT), intend to carry out industrial action over the national pay offer and their members plan to strike on Wednesday 7 December 2022. Due to capacity and resourcing issues, the school will be closed to all pupils in Year groups S1, S2 and S3
The S4 prelims will run from Monday the 5th of December until Friday the 16th December. Students have been issued with their timetables and should attend each examination in good time. Students should attend their normal classes when not in a prelim examination.
Congratulations to all our senior students who were recognised for their academic success for session 2021/22 at this years Awards Ceremony. We recently celebrated the successes of students in S1-3 for the Academic Year 2021/22 at the BGE Awards ceremonies. Each year group was recognised for their effort & hard work throughout the year with a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award. Well done to all recipients of awards and thanks to the music department for providing 3 excellent pieces of musical entertainment during each ceremony.
