Literacy
Spelling Words:

useful, dreadful, careful, cheerful, skilful, colourful, beautiful, plentiful, wonderful, disgraceful, faithful, eventful.

Tasks:

Write these out three times each in either rainbow spelling, fancy spelling, or capital spelling.

Then create a spelling story, try to include all of your spelling words.

 

Maths and Numeracy
Practise your 7- or 8-times tables using Daily 10 on Topmarks as demonstrated in class and carried out within each lesson. (Level 6 – Multiplication – Tables up to 12 (x7)).
Tasks:
  • Try one round of Daily 10 using the 7 or 8 times table and write your answers down in your jotter.
  • Then try 5 minutes on Measuring in Centimetres on Topmarks (Level 2). Measuring in Centimetres (topmarks.co.uk)
Topic
We have started our new Topic – CSI– and have been learning about different roles in Forensic Science.
Tasks:
  • Research one job role within CSI and create an information leaflet displaying all your research.
  • Examples include, police officers, detective, toxicologist, scientist, or any other role related to forensic science.
