Spelling

Write your words out 3 times.
Write sentences or a short paragraph with 5 or more of your spelling words included in it.

Reading

Red/Blue: Read the next chapter in your reading book.
Yellow: You will be issued a new book on Tuesday. Please return any old books to the school ASAP. Thank you.

Maths

Create posters: use “6x table” and the “8x table” as the heading in the middle and surround this with the table facts all the way to 12 x 6 or 12 x 8

Art and Languages

On a Friday, we have been creating artwork annotated with words in the different languages we know.
We would love to see you take part at home. Why not go on a Languages Hunt to find out examples of languages other than English in and around your home? From food packaging to toy instructions, signs and branding, children can take pictures of their findings and then present them in digital format or email them to their teachers. Alternatively, just bring them in (if practical)!
