Please send pupils in with a suitable P.E. kit including change of shoes on these days. P.E. kit is yellow t-shirt and dark shorts/joggers.
Literacy Tasks
Red and Blue Group
Task 1
Revision of phonemes “a-e”, “u-e”, “ea ”
a-e – dare, scare
u-e – blue, flume
ea – hear, beam
Write each word out 3 times each remembering to form your letters properly.
Choose 3 words (one from each phoneme list) and write a sentence about each one.
Task 2
Please make sure you can spell all of these common words –
each, year, away, always
Ask your family to test you on your spelling of these words. Can you put them into a sentence? You may want to write a sentence for each and draw a picture to illustrate one of them.
Task 3
Read your book each night, practising the words you find difficult and try to read smoothly with expression, stopping at full stops.
Green Group –
Task 1 – Introduction of new phoneme “ay “
play, say, pray, spray
Write each word out 3 times remembering to form your letters properly the way we have practised in class.
Choose 2 words and write a sentence about each one.
Task 2
Please make sure you can spell all of these common words –
day, away, always, today
Ask your family to test you on your spelling of these words. Can you out them into a sentence? You can write a sentence in your jotter for as many of them as you want.

Maths and Numeracy
Task 1
There are a range of activities to suit our new topic of Data Handling which we will link to our topic work in the coming week, your child may do as many as they wish.

Read the information on the table and answer the questions in your jotter if you are unable to print the sheet at home
(Try out as many examples as you can, your child may want to attempt them all. They differ in challenge but feel free to encourage and support as necessary.)
