Play is a vital part of human nature and development.  We know how important it is for children to be given time to play throughout the day in order to follow their own line of enquiry or individual interest.

Play is sometimes thought of as children’s work. Through play, children learn to answer their own questions, learn new skills and learn to work collaboratively with other children or adults.
