Family Learning

At Moorfoot Primary we encourage family members to learn together as and within a family.

We offer a coding club to families on a Tuesday 3 – 4pm. This is open to all ages. If you would like more information please contact our school office.

Our Learning Blog will enable you as a parent to support your child’s learning.  We are eager to add to our collection of learning videos so please contact the school if there is something you would like to know more about.

Parentzone Scotland is a useful website with many guides to supporting your child at home.

On Fridays at 1.30pm we offer a BSL class to all parents and families. This is free to attend. If you require further information please contact the school.

In 2020 we are planning a ‘World of Work’ week with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM). This is an opportunity for pupils and families to learn about careers and hear from people who do these jobs. If you work in any of these areas and would be available to speak to pupils about your work then please contact us.
