Moorfoot Primary is a non denominational primary school catering for children from 3-12 years of age. We welcome and respect children and parents of all religions, faiths and beliefs.
Within our beautiful, newly refurbished building we have our primary classes, nursery classes and Garvel Deaf Centre working together under the leadership of Head Teacher Mrs Irvine.
Moorfoot Primary is part of the Clydeview Cluster which is made up of 3 nurseries, 3 primary schools, one Deaf centre and one secondary school. They are Moorfoot Nursery Class, Binnie Street Childrens Centre, Kelly Street Nursery, Moorfoot, Gourock & Ardgowan Primaries, Garvel Deaf Centre plus Clydeview Academy.
Since our refurbishment we have facilities for both disabled children and adults throughout the entire building.
Parents of children at Moorfoot are an integral part of the school community. Parents are involved in all aspects of school life from parent council, to school trips, information sessions and parent interviews.
We value their importance as the main educators of their children and endeavour to offer greater opportunities for their continued involvement and support.
Please do not hesitate to call the school if there is any further information that you may require.
If you are a parent/career and not already a Moorfoot Primary School, Nursery Class class and Garvel Facebook friend, please issue us with the e-mail address you use for Facebook and your Facebook name and we will be able to add you. This will give you access to news and picture galleries on the private page.
