Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s Youth Employment strategy to better prepare young people for the world of work.
The employer-led Developing the Young Workforce Regional Groups set up across Scotland are connecting employers with education. Find out how the Groups can support you to engage with education.
DYW and Higher Education
Higher Education constitutes HNC, HND and degree courses at colleges and universities. Any young person who has achieved at least one Higher could find themselves wishing to apply for one of these courses. As a result, we have provided guidance on the following areas:
- School & College information in partnership with West College Scotland
- Universities Information in partnership with Strathclyde University
- Funding information in partnership with the Students Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS)
