This week in Room 5, we learned a new sound ‘ay’. We learned how to count by 2s in Number, and explored some more 3D shapes.

The children were really happy to read their note from you from parents evening today, it was lovely to meet you all too. Thank you so much for coming.

Peyton: This week I learned to count in 2s and i learned to a new sound and i now know them.

Amelia: I enjoyed playing with the lego.

Aulay: I liked learning to count in 2s, all the way up to 30.

Callum: I liked playing with my friends in the playground, we played knights in the forest.

Dhairya: We learned a new sound in literacy on the chromebooks.

Lucia: We did chest passes with Mrs Sheed in P.E

Shreyan: We learned a new sound ‘ay’ like day.

Mustafa: We learned about our common words and a joint phoneme.

Sam: We were counting in 2s, and 5s.

Matthew: Callum and I made a flying build with lights on it.

Archie: I liked playing with the lego.

David: I like learning new sounds and common words.

Harris: I enjoyed counting to 100 in 2s.

Erland: I liked playing with the new lego.

Callum: I enjoyed visiting the library and reading a new book at home that was interesting.

Homework:

Spelling words will be put onto parents portal on Monday. Mathletics and bug club logins will be in bags on Monday, along with a spelling menu.

Remember P.E days are Wednesday and Thursday. And always bring a waterproof jacket!
